Project overview
The project consists of a sewage treatment plant with an oxidation ditch system, with a capacity of 15,500 m3/day for secondary treatment. It also involves implementing a tertiary treatment system with a capacity of 15,500 m3/day and a corresponding discharge line measuring 18,500 meters in length, located in New Qena City.
- 18,025 meters of the discharge line have been executed, and 33 out of a total of 37 chambers have been completed, achieving a completion rate of 92%.
- The construction of the station buildings has been completed at a rate of 80%.
- The basins have been completed at a rate of 85%.
Challenge
The fluctuation in the exchange rate has negatively impacted the delivery schedule of electromechanical equipment.
Result
The project works have been executed so far at a rate of 82%.
